A GOLD Executive Transport came down inside Freight Complex Z7 shortly after eight, in a district Loop Corp no longer serves. GOLD has confirmed the loss of the vehicle and nothing else. Nexus drones were turned back at the perimeter by what our pilot describes as “private security with opinions.”
The Z7 file →Multiple runner crews were seen entering Z7 within minutes of the crash. Sources in Neon Market describe “at least three teams, none of them talking to each other.” GOLD's automated defenses are reported active. Nexus advises residents of the Freight District, if there are any, to stay indoors.
As seen from the 404 →What began as salvage has become a battle. Witnesses on the elevated cargo rails report army-grade machines on both sides, “black with red lines” against GOLD's gold-lined defenders, and a third group nobody could describe. Nexus cannot confirm who they belong to. Nexus has asked. Nobody has answered.
The overlook →Loop Corp announced that service to the Nether Zones is “temporarily suspended.” Freight corridor 12 is closed. Loop Line 7 continues to run all night. Loop thanks you for your patience, and reminds passengers that Loop is never late; the city is early.

The executive companion unit reported stolen in the Neon District remains missing. Runner Net's recovery contract has been raised to 25,000 credits and marked “multiple teams on the job.” Sightings tonight place the unit in three districts at once, which the family's representative called “typical of him.” The Droplet Runners declined to comment, which sources say means they're on it.
The BOLO, as it went out →Runner Net — hosted by Steler Corp for the runner community, free of charge, no questions asked — posted a notice tonight advising all users to rotate their private-channel keys, citing “unusual traffic.” Runner Net has never posted a notice before. Steler had no further comment, which is Steler's comment on most things.

A comic shop off the Loop that most of the visible city has never heard of brought its shutters down at twenty past nine. Lunara Place is open around the clock; regulars did not know it had shutters. The android at the counter told our correspondent, through the glass, that the store was “in lockdown mode,” that this was “not a drill,” and that the new Edgerunner issue had arrived and would be held for customers. Then the lights went red.

The Wonderlands Syndicate's flagship club is open as usual, and Nexus is told that its owner had “a productive evening.” The 404 in Neon Market reports a brief disturbance at the VIP rope, resolved in 2.48 seconds by a customer. Management says the guards are fine. The guards say nothing.
