The Cast

What the street knows, what the corps know, and what neither will admit. Files marked no confirmed image are exactly that — the Visual Studio is still working.

Edgerunner

Lunara

RunnerBlack & goldFox emblemDoesn't run from anything

Very long golden hair with a streak of stolen rainbow, tied high when she's working. Black and gold on everything she owns, including the gun. She takes the jobs nobody sane takes, enters the rooms nobody sane enters, and leaves through whatever's closest.

Confident. Cheeky. Impulsive in the way that keeps working out. Emotionally guarded and completely aware of it. Trusts one person in the whole city.

“Sane people don't get paid double.”

Sprite

RunnerCyan & magentaCommand moduleSees it first

Red hair to her waist, framed glasses, a headset mic, and a lollipop she treats as equipment. Lives inside a wall of holographic screens and is more dangerous there than most people are with a rifle.

Brilliant, observant, mischievous. Notices patterns before anyone else has noticed there's a pattern. Lunara's best friend, occasional more, and the only voice Lunara actually listens to.

“I'm not saying it's a trap. I'm saying it's shaped like one.”

Head of Wonderlands

Rabbit

UnaugmentedHand-to-handLow-keyDo not test

The most feared man in a city of augmented killers has no augmentation at all. Not one. Muscle, an open jacket, a white rabbit inked on the back of his hand, and a calm that does the talking.

He rarely needs to prove anything. People who made him prove it are not available for comment.

“Sit. You're making the room nervous.”

Second-in-command · Leader of the Red Rose Cards

Fat Alice

Cyber-enhancedRedNetrunnerCommands the Cards

Not fat. Not thin. Likes the name and will hear no notes on it. Styles herself as a cybernetically enhanced steampunk Alice — if Alice were past thirty, wore red, and ran the syndicate's elite.

A netrunner at heart, upgraded heavily for the other kind of work. Strategic, elegant, theatrical, and dressed for both the theatre and the massacre.

“Cards on the table, darling. Mine are all red.”

The Red Rose Cards

EliteRoses & cardsSyndicate security

Wonderlands' finest, under Fat Alice. Highly trained, cyber-enhanced, and visually unmistakable — roses, suits, silver thorns. When you see the Cards, the regular muscle has already left.

Nobody has yet reported seeing all four suits in one room and walking out.

Team lead · Sniper

Oliver “Oli”

SniperEx-militaryTolerated

Ex-commando, elite marksman, and the leader of the Droplet runner team. Arrogant, good-looking, and unfortunately as capable as he thinks he is. Occasionally hires Lunara and Sprite for jobs, which is exactly as pleasant as it sounds.

“I don't miss. I sometimes choose not to hit.”

Procurement · Infiltration

Pixy

InfiltratorSilver hairCharmingComplicated

Silver pixie cut, a smile that opens doors, and hands that open the rest. Smooth talker, hand-to-hand fighter, light netrunner. Adaptable to the point of being hard to pin down — socially or otherwise.

Is in love with Lunara. Everyone knows. Including Lunara.

“I can get you anything. Some things cost extra. Some things cost me.”

Netrunner

Dexio

NetrunnerShy offlineBrilliant online

Messy black hair, gamer, nerd, and offline about as talkative as a locked door. Inside the net he is somebody else entirely: confident, fast, completely at home.

Has a thing for Sprite. Has not said so. Has said so in code, twice, and deleted it.

“…hi. Sorry. Hi.”

Diva

UntraceableNever wrongPays

Pays extremely well. Is never wrong. Cannot be traced. Hires runners for jobs that don't make sense until later, and sometimes not then. Whispered about in hacker circles by people who aren't sure she exists.

Sprite is obsessed with finding out who — or what — Diva really is. So far, the net has declined to answer.

More to come

Wonderlands keeps mid-level bosses, club managers, casino operators, and street captains. Neon City keeps more secrets than that. New dossiers land in Dispatches first.
