Who Runs Neon City

Three megacorps, each famous for one thing and quietly in the business of everything else. And beneath them, a syndicate with a sense of theatre.

The Megacorps
Transit · Logistics · Everything else

Loop Corp

The main transit loop around Neon City, the lines out of it, the stations, the freight corridors, the commuter systems. If it moves on a schedule, Loop moves it.

The city moves because we do.

What the street says: if you're late, it's never Loop's fault. Check the fine print on your ticket. Then check who printed it.

Food · Drink · Retail · Everything else

Xee Corp

Supermarkets, convenience stores, imports, beverages, alcohol, tobacco, everyday everything. Xee is on every corner and in every fridge, and it is very, very friendly.

Everything you need. Everywhere you are.

What the street says: you have never been more than two hundred metres from a Xee. Try it. Count.

Hardware · Arms · Everything else

Steler Corp

No single market to its name — just a reputation for better tech, better weapons, better systems, and better silence. Restrained, premium, and not interested in explaining itself.

Superior hardware. No further comment.

What the street says: the good gear says Steler on it somewhere small. The very good gear doesn't say anything.

The Underworld
Syndicate

Wonderlands Syndicate

Clubs, casinos, dark markets, grey-market logistics, private security, runners, and the elite troops to keep it all polite. Theatrical, dangerous, and not remotely silly.

Tonight at the Looking Glass. Dress well. Behave.

What the street says: Rabbit runs it. Fat Alice runs Rabbit's problems. Nobody runs Rabbit.

Elite troops · Wonderlands

The Red Rose Cards

Fat Alice's own. Cyber-enhanced, highly trained, and dressed to be recognised. Distinct from regular Wonderlands muscle in the way a scalpel is distinct from a brick.

Cards on the table.

What the street says: if you see the roses, you were already supposed to be somewhere else.

Runner team

Droplet Runners

An elite independent crew: Oli on the long gun, Pixy on the doors, Dexio in the wire. Freelance, expensive, and occasionally in need of two more pairs of hands.

In and out before the rain hits the ground.

What the street says: good crew. Annoying lead. Would hire again, wouldn't have a drink with.

The independent
Edgerunner mark

Lunara

Not a faction. One woman, one emblem — cyber-fox, crescent moon, magenta neon — worn on her jacket, sprayed on her rides, and increasingly seen where it shouldn't be.

Freedom looks better at night.

What the street says: if the fox is on the wall, she's already been through. If it's on the door, don't open the door.

Corporate presence

Everywhere you look

The corps live in the background of Neon City: ads, towers, stations, vending machines, uniforms, delivery drones, branded everything. You will see the logos long before you see the people who own them. That is how they prefer it.

Every megacorp on this page behaves like a real one. Famous for one thing. Profitable from all of them.
